Starting Seedlings at Home
Saturday, February 18th from 1-2:30 PM
Danielle Marvit, Garden Dreams Urban Farm & Nursery
POWER/EEFC Conference Room

Learn the skills and tools you need to grow your own seedlings at home this year. Danielle will discuss the importance of how to choose Safe Seeds and what that means. She will also provide instruction on planning and seeding for the growing season ahead. From germinating, to potting up, feeding and hardening off, you’ll learn how to give your seedlings a healthy head-start.  Attendees will receive basic equipment, seeds, and a planting schedule for common crops. Bring seeds from your favorite varieties to swap with fellow gardeners!

Wellness Wednesday

All shoppers will receive 10% off wellness and body care items including multivitamins, minerals, protein powders, homeopathic remedies, lotions, soaps, skincare, cosmetics and much more. Our expert staff and vendors will be on hand to help you select products that promote health and well being, inside and out. Discounts are non-stackable; vendor coupons welcome.

Host an Event with the Co-op

If you or your organization are interested in presenting an event with the Co-op, you can fill out our Event Proposal Form and submit it to Customer Service or email it to epeiffer@eastendfood.coop.

Try It Before You Buy It

We also manage an active in-store demo program.  Our buyers work closely with our suppliers to schedule these events and you can rest assured that the person running the table knows all there is to know about the product being distributed.  Be on the lookout for samples and demos taking place around the store on your next visit!

Interested in having a product demo at the Co-op?

If you represent a brand that we carry in the store, we’d be happy to set up an in-store demo or coordinate a passive demo of your supplied product. All in-store demos must go through the Promotions & Merchandising Coordinator. Please email Patrick McHale at pmchale@eastendfood.coop for more information and scheduling.

We hope to see you here, there, and everywhere!
