Share Investments

Economic participation is one of the key cooperative principles.  Investing in a co-op share is one important way to support your consumer-owned co-op.  Your $100 investment, the current value of an EEFC share, is paid once, is fully refundable, and entitles you and your household to the privileges of one membership (one vote in co-op elections). There are no annual fees.

You can pay for your share all at once or in four quarterly installments of $25 each.

Our credit union offers:

Share Savings Accounts: You can start a savings account with a minimum of $5 and begin earning dividends right away! All deposits are federally insured for up to $100,000.

Share Savings Certificates: Certificates, like a “certificate of deposit” at a bank, require a minimum deposit of $1,000 for 1 year. Rates are higher than on savings accounts. Please contact the office for current rates.
