Although our East End Food Co-op Cafe has always been vegetarian, the Co-op has offered quality meats in our store since the beginning.  Humanely-raised animals and organic standards make a difference both in the quality of the meat and in our ecological impact.  The Co-op carries many local meats and poultry products which travel short distances to reach our store, and support local producers.
