  • 3-4 lbs heirloom tomatoes chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic smashed
  • 10 basil leaves thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 loaf french bread or any rustic bread of choice

  • 3-4 lbs heirloom tomatoes chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic smashed
  • 10 basil leaves thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 loaf french bread or any rustic bread of choice
Instructions
  1. Combine diced tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, vinegar and basil in a bowl, stir.
  2. Cover and marinate.
  3. While tomotoes marinate, slice bread into 3/4-inch slices. Place bread in oven on sheet pan and broil approximately 2 minutes until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Move bread to a platter and top with tomatoes. Serve immediately.
