Don’t have space for a full garden? Learn the basics of growing vegetables in pots, including site selection, possibilities for pots, making potting mixes and choosing what to grow for spring, summer and fall enjoyment. Participants will create one small self-watering container!

This workshop is presented by Grow Pittsburgh’s Farm Education and Outreach Coordinator Robert Grey. Grow Pittsburgh’s mission is to teach people how to grow food and promote the benefits gardens bring to our neighborhoods. Grow Pittsburgh and its member supporters envision the day when everyone in our city and region grows and eats fresh, local and healthy food.
