Scape Pesto

Garlic Scape Pesto

Course: Appetizer, Side Dish, Snack


  • 2 cups garlic scapes chopped
  • 3/4 cup hemp hearts
  • 3/4 cup raw cashews soaked at least 4 hours
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Juice of one lemon


  1. Place cashews and hemp hearts in a food processor to blend.
  2. Add scapes and lemon juice, processing until well blended.
  3. Slowly pour in olive oil.
  4. Serve on crackers, bread, pasta or pizza.
