Most popular for being served around the campfire in a “pork and beans” style dish. Great Northern Beans are great for mixing into salads, chili, or even being served in a baked beans dish with vegetables and hearty spices.
Organic Great Northern Beans
- 3 cups of water
- 1 cup of beans
Wash beans and drain.
Cover with cold water, discard floaters and soak 4-8 hours in a cool place.
Drain, add water in a pot.
Cover and bring to a boil. Simmer until soft, approx. 1½ - 2 hours.
