- 1 cups of split peas
- 3 cups of water
Instructions

Wash split peas and drain.

Add 3 cups of fresh water or broth for every cup of peas.

Cover and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer just until soft., approx. 40-50 minutes.
