Roasted Broccoli Steaks

Course Side Dish

Ingredients

  • 1 inch large head of Broccoli sliced into 1thick steaks
  • 4 roasted garlic cloves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan or vegan Parmesan
  • 1/2 a lemon zested
  • 3-4 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Mash roasted garlic with a fork. Add salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and olive oil. Mix well.
  3. Coat the broccoli (or toss gently) in the mixture and add sliced broccoli to a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from over and then sprinkle with parmesan and bake for another 5-10 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven, dust with lemon zest and enjoy!
