Ingredients

  • 1 cup of peas
  • 3 cups of water

Instructions

  1. Wash split peas and drain.
  2. Add 3 cups of fresh water or broth for every cup of peas.
  3. Cover and bring to a boil. Immediately reduce heat and simmer just until soft. Approximately 40-50 minutes.
